Sessions are typically €30+ per hour depending on the tutor and their experience. Group sessions (10–20 students) are available at a reduced rate. Contact us for a personalised quote.
All sessions are currently online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, making them accessible from anywhere in Finland. Some tutors in Helsinki may be available for in-person sessions — mention this in your enquiry.
Absolutely. All Surfi tutors work with beginners. Starting with a tutor from day one is actually one of the fastest ways to progress — you get immediate feedback on your pronunciation and don't develop bad habits.
It depends on your starting level and how much you self-study. Most students who combine 10–15 tutor sessions with daily self-study using Surfi materials are well-prepared for the B1 exam. Your tutor will give you a more accurate estimate after an initial assessment.
