Sara lives in Espoo. She knows that Espoo is Finland’s second-largest city. The city is formed of five centres, so not everything is in the same place. Today, Sara goes by metro to Tapiola.

🔊Tapiolassa Sara tapaa ystävänsä. Ystävä opiskelee Otaniemessä, lähellä Aalto-yliopistoa. Sara kysyy: “Menemmekö metrolla vai bussilla?” Ystävä vastaa: “Mennään ensin Otaniemeen ja sitten jatketaan bussilla Nuuksioon.”

In Tapiola, Sara meets her friend. The friend studies in Otaniemi, near Aalto University. Sara asks: “Shall we go by metro or by bus?” The friend replies: “Let’s go first to Otaniemi and then continue by bus to Nuuksio.”

🔊Nuuksiossa Sara näkee metsää, järviä ja merkittyjä polkuja. Hän muistaa, että luonnossa pitää seurata merkittyjä reittejä eikä jättää roskia. Kävelyn jälkeen Sara sanoo: “Espoossa voin olla kaupungissa aamulla ja metsässä iltapäivällä.”

In Nuuksio, Sara sees forest, lakes and marked trails. She remembers that in nature you should follow marked routes and not leave litter. After the walk, Sara says: “In Espoo, I can be in the city in the morning and in the forest in the afternoon.”
